Meet Dr. Dotter
Dr. Dotter was born in Lancaster, Pa and attended Manheim Township High School. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1992 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. In 1996, he graduated from Temple Dental School and received his DMD, Doctor of Medical Dentistry. In 1997, he completed a GPR (General Practice Residency) at York Hospital focusing on advanced dental care and surgical training. He then returned home to Lancaster where he has continued his focus on providing the best possible care for his patients.
Dr. Dotter has shown a true dedication to continuing education. He attends over 100 hours of CE yearly and is a member of the PAGD's (Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry) PEAK program where he gives regular presentations to many of Pennsylvania's finest dentists. Also, he is an active member of the IAO through which he is pursuing his Diplomat status in orthodontic training.
July 2009, in Baltimore Maryland, Dr Dotter was recognized by his peers at the national meeting for the Academy of General Dentistry. He became one of the youngest dentists to achieve Mastership status, the highest and most prestigious award given to a general dentist. Less than one percent of the dentists in the US and Canada currently hold the Mastership distinction. Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) signifies Dr. Dotter has taken over 1,100 hours of continuing education beyond dental school in over 16 different disciplines of dentistry and has passed a rigorous six-hour comprehensive examination. The MAGD distinction can assure you that you are in the hands of an accomplished dentist in the top one percent in his profession.

Personal
Dr. Dotter has three children: Zachary, Alyssa, and Trey. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
